Anyone got problem with canon speedlite 430EX II turning into TTL mode all the time?
I have just bought the canon speedlite 430ex II few days back. Found out something weird happening. In the middle of something the flash gun's mode turns into TTL mode (which shouldnt happened to type A camera. I have canon 400d that supports ETTL II)
as far as i know, TTL mode only appears when the flash is attached to the type b camera (such as manual or film camera)
has anyone experienced this problem before ? is this a product defect ??
thanks Paul..but i think i found out the problem..the flash should be communication on TTL, and what ive found out is, there is a problem in the hot shoe on my canon 400d..might need to get a new one tommorow..haha
It is by default in E-TTL mode all the time. You would need to change it into manual mode to change this.
Check it is properly mounted on the hotshoe. Lock it. Enjoy.
